In the hour long initial consultation with Taryn, a through history will be taken of bladder and bowel function, obstetric history and any other concerns you may have. This is followed by a pelvic floor, abdominal and full body assessment which will assist Taryn to tailor an individual program to help you reach your goals.

WOMEN’S S&C CLASS - $30

Our women’s s&c classes are arguably the highlight of the week! Sessions vary weekly from traditional heavy strength training to higher intensity circuit training. Whatever the session, we emphasise creating a supportive environment for one another, with the focus on enjoying the training and redefining what you thought was possible. All classes provide close athlete supervision, focusing on technique and load management.

WOMEN’S POSTPARTUM S&C CLASS - $30

Our postpartum s&c classes are specially designed to rebuild both strength after having a baby. These sessions will include specific pelvic floor, core and full body exercises. Sessions may be in the form of a traditional strength class of heavier weights and low repetitions, or higher intensity circuits to assist you in achieving your goals, be that returning to running, lifting weights or keeping up with your kids. Whatever the session, we emphasise creating a supportive environment for one another, with the focus on enjoying the training and redefining what you thought was possible. Babies are welcome of course!

Whether you want to run for fun, have never run before or you’re looking for a competitive edge, our women’s run group offers something for everyone.

The EM women’s run group is comprised of weekly sessions programmed by experienced physiotherapists and exercise sport scientists designed to improve your running confidence and fitness. The run group is coached by Taryn, our pelvic health physiotherapist, to include considerations regarding pelvic health whilst running. You will be taken step by step through the session, tailoring each session to you according to your fitness level. Each session is comprised of running specific activation exercises, followed by a warm-up, a main set and a cool down.
